Once again, you've all done it again.

I look forward to your future involvement.

 

And a BIG Thank You goes out to Chuck Moore and all the Derby City Comic Con staff,

Ginny Tonic, John Wilson, Kim Wilson and everyone else involved in allowing us the opportunity grow and join in the success of the Derby City Comic Con.

The weekend went very well and was a HUGE success for the group.

Lots of interest in local Steampunk.

 

 



This Friday, June 27th is the Derby City Comic Con's Opening Night Preview Party and Steampunk Celebration and it's being hosted by none other than the Corn Island Steampunk Society.  

This means YOU!

So come on out in your best dressed Steampunk attire and let's show them what being Steampunk is all about.  This is your chance to represent your group and help get the Corn Island Steampunk Society out in the public eye a bit.

There will also be demonstrations in creative mixology by Calamity Labs.

This event is 21+.

Weekend badge holders will be able to pick up their badges at this event and avoid the lines and wait Saturday morning to get in and you will be able to buy weekend badges as well.

Again, this event is 21 yrs of age and over.

Happy 3 yr Anniversary Corn Island Steampunk Society, this group would be nothing without the dedicated support and fine fellowship each one of you have brought to the table.  I can't thank you enough for making this dream a reality, your contributions and support are greatly appreciated.

And to the many friends and familiar faces who came all the way from Cincinnati, Richmond and Indianapolis to join in the celebration.

And to the Traveling Odditorium Crew who were also celebrating their 4th year together as a Steampunk group.

To those who didn't make it out, we hope to see you in 2015 for the 4th anniversary meet if not sooner and to those who did come out.....

This weekend brings the Steampunk Weekend at the Kentucky Renaissance Fair in Eminence, Kentucky AND our 3 year anniversary meet on....

Sunday, the 22nd 

at Kingfish on the River 

from 5:30 - 7:30 pm.  

601 W Riverside Drive, 

Jeffersonville, Indiana.  

Steampunk attire is not required but highly encouraged.  

We will have the Corn Island Steampunk banner there and will be taking some group photos with the Louisville Skyline in the background, so come dressed in your best.

We are already expecting a big turnout for this one.
