The River City Comic Expo
is a comic show to benefit the charity
Fund for the Eyes
Fund for the Eyes promotes the independency
and self-advocacy of blind and visually impaired individuals
living in Jefferson County in Louisville, Kentucky.

 

The Corn Island Steampunk Society
will have a table set up throughout the event.

Mark your calendars, come on out (dressed in Steampunk) and help
support this - the first all charity comic event in Louisville.

Thanks to all those who came out to our meet this past Easter Sunday, we are thrilled at such a fabulous turnout and to those who couldn't make it, you were definitely missed.

Next meet is scheduled for Sunday, May 18th from 5:30 - 7:30 pm at 

KingFish on the river in Jeffersonville, Indiana 

So get your Steampunk on and come join us.

As it turns out, our next meeting falls on Easter Sunday, April 20th.  To some, this may be poor planning on my part but I wanted to stick to the consecutive scheduling of the 3rd Sunday of every month.

The way I see it, our meetings are late enough in the day, it shouldn't matter and this will provide something to do for those who do nothing on Easter because they have no family in the area or their kids are grown -like myself.

So, if you can make it - Great.  If you cannot, I thoroughly understand and look forward to seeing you next time.

Wow!  Special thanks to all who braved the weather and made it out to our March meetup, 

I appreciate the great turnout.  This was our first time meeting at King Fish and we will continue to host our monthly meetings there as, it's easy to find, lots of parking and good affordable food.  Plus there is plenty of room to move about.

Our next meet will be Sunday, April 20th at 5:30 pm
